Listing Policy & Curation Standards
FiveStack is an independent, hand-curated directory designed to catalog production-grade resources for FiveM server owners and developers. Every script, library, and creator listed on the platform undergoes manual inspection before publication.
Independent, Ad-Free, and Direct-to-Source
FiveStack operates under strict editorial neutrality. We do not sell scripts, we do not host downloadable binaries or source archives, and we do not accept payment to feature or expedite listings. All traffic and user actions route directly to the creator's official GitHub repository or Tebex webstore.
Direct links to authentic creator repositories and stores only.
Featured scripts are chosen strictly on technical merit and utility.
No trackers, no invasive telemetry, and no cookies for unauthenticated browsing.
Requirements for Resource Listings
To maintain directory quality, resources submitted to FiveStack must meet four essential technical baselines before being approved:
Modern Cfx.re Artifact Compatibility
The resource must function without crashes or major lua errors on current FiveM server artifacts. Scripts utilizing deprecated constructs (such as legacy `__resource.lua` instead of `fxmanifest.lua`) or relying on abandoned dependencies will be rejected or asked for revision.
Accessible Documentation & Installation Instructions
Every listed resource must feature a clear setup guide, whether directly in a GitHub `README.md`, an official documentation site (e.g. GitBook, Mintlify), or a public wiki. Dependencies, server convars, configuration files, and exports must be documented.
Official Distribution Origin
We only accept direct links to the creator's GitHub/GitLab repository or their official Tebex webstore. Submissions linking to Discord file attachments, anonymous cloud drives (Mega, MediaFire, Google Drive), or ad-shortener redirectors are categorically declined.
Explicit Framework Compatibility
The submission must accurately declare supported frameworks (such as Standalone, ox_core / ox_lib, Qbox, QBCore, ESX Legacy, or ND Core). Bridge scripts or multi-framework resources must be verified to support declared targets.
Zero-Tolerance Security Violations
Submissions containing any of the following are permanently blacklisted from FiveStack:
- Leaked or Pirated Code: Unreleased, unlicensed, cracked, or redistributed assets infringing upon creator copyright.
- Backdoors & Remote Execution: Code that fetches and executes unverified external code at runtime (`load()`, `assert(loadstring(...))`), remote wipe triggers, or unauthorized administrative escalations.
- Hidden Telemetry & Data Harvesting: Scripts silently gathering server IP addresses, player hardware IDs, database credentials, or convar secrets without explicit consent and disclosure.
- Obfuscated "Open Source": Repositories labeled as open-source but shipping with heavily minified, ciphered, or bytecode-compiled payloads.
- Abandoned Software: Repositories whose maintainers have archived them or which fail to run on standard modern artifact targets without patches.
Clear Licensing Disclosure
In the FiveM ecosystem, "free" does not always mean "open source". FiveStack categorizes every resource with explicit licensing terms so server owners know exactly what rights they hold before installing:
Full source code is publicly accessible and licensed under standard licenses (MIT, GPL, Apache, etc.). Inspectable, forkable, and contributions welcome.
Source code is viewable and modifiable for private server use, but bound by custom terms (e.g. non-commercial, no redistribution, or branded proprietary licenses).
Protected via official Cfx.re Asset Escrow and distributed through authorized Tebex webstores. Must clearly disclose pricing (one-time payment or recurring subscription).
Full Creator Autonomy
We hold profound respect for developers and studios whose work powers the multiplayer community. As an author, you retain complete authority over how your presence appears on FiveStack:
If you are a creator and do not wish your profile or resources listed on FiveStack, simply contact us with verification of ownership (e.g. via a commit, Discord ticket, or domain email). We will honor your request and remove your listings immediately, no questions asked.
Need to update your official logo, change your documentation URL, or adjust a resource description? You can submit an update through the Suggest Portal or contact an administrator to update your verified profile.
